Initials logo is another type of text logo, but only use initials of your company name in it. It is suitable for those companies which have a long name, or have lots of subsidiaries for it. In such cases you can use the first letters of every word in the words of the long name or the names of the subsidiaries (EAG for "Excellent Advertising Guaranteed Company"). Think of it only when your company and products have enough advertising potential to make people understand the explanation of these initials.


Possessive and Proprietary: Brand Mark Logo


When you think of a G with a big font, you will have the name Google in your mind in short. So G has become a brand mark for Google and so that big G is a very effective example for a brand mark logo. A brand mark logo can be used only when you have finished almost all the process of branding and your business name is now in a position of an outstanding and impressive brand mark. The icon-based logo includes a combination of text and graphics (the brand symbol) in the same logo. This can be the most effective way of logo design to use if you want people to remember your company name and its symbol in one go.

An icon-based logo is capable of making your company name as a house hold affair. It can help you to have a transition of your company name as a brand mark. These brand marks also can be used to symbolize different varieties of your product lines.
